it's cold in Tel Aviv. The wind blew hard - the homeless bundled
up in whatever shelter they could find and we fed many who were hungry,
physically and spiritually.
Isaiah 58:
6 “Is
this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness,
undo the heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free, that you break
every yoke? 7Is
it not to share your bread with the hungry; bring to your
house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
Hope? A desire with an expectation of fulfillment.
When hope is lost, drugs, alcohol, sex and other addictive behaviors often
takes its place. RESCUE Israel is about hope; it's about sharing God's love
in practical ways and helping people realize God has a good plan for their
lives and with His help, they can hope again.
