ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSION (AGRM): This association is comprised of over 300 Union Gospel Rescue Mission around the United States and is affiliated with City Mission World Association in Europe to which some 200 mission in the rest of the world belong.

RESCUE Israel is affiliated with AGRM and is recognized by them as an "Expansion Ministry." Every year around the U.S. new missions are started and can join AGRM. For 5 years they are given the classification, "Expansion Ministry" whereby they can receive special help in training, counsel, conferences and grants.

CHRISTIAN STEWARDSHIP ASSOCIATION (CSA): George Wehnes, Executive Director of RESCUE Israel is a member of the Christian Stewardship Association which provides training and education for Christian development professional to be effectively informed and prepared to successfully serve their ministry. CSA's commitment is to provide training in Christian Stewardship and Resource Development, empowering Christian ministry to become financially strong and sustainable.

This page is designed to give the potential donor knowledge of the ministry of RESCUE Israel. We recognize there are many non-profit organizations in the world; most are legitimate and honorable. We also recognize that there are some who are not.

The leaders of RESCUE Israel and the RESCUE Israel Outreach in Israel are committed to excellence in leadership and accountability. Because we believe we are called of God to this work, we take seriously our responsibility to be good stewards - stewards of God's confidence in us and the confidence placed in us by those who support this work. BOARD OF DIRECTORS - RESCUE Israel: is governed by a board of directors:

George Wehnes, Founder and Executive Director, Associate Pastor of a Messianic Congregation Rabbi James Pace, Board Chairman, Pastor of a Messianic Congregation Janice Olson, Board Secretary, Health Care – Medical Supplies Buyer Daryl Olson, Property and Acquisition Specialist Dr. Herb Opalek, PhD, Rabbi, Executive Director, Merced County Rescue Mission Rose Monroe, Customer Service Representative Simon Ochman, Dental Specialist Rev. John Samaan, Executive Director, Boston Rescue Mission

Board meetings are held a minimum of 4-6 times a year. The Executive Director is required at each board meeting to provide a progress report as well as an accounting of income and expenses.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS - RESCUE Israel Outreach in Tel Aviv: is governed by a board of directors from local congregations in Tel Aviv Israel. Herb Opalek and George Wehnes are members of the board.
